In this special preview to Akasha, released to promote a rare visit to London in 2007, Dr Demartini speaks about how he first encountered “The Book of Wealth.” He describes how, whilst watching a biography about Henry Clay Frick, the 19th century industrialist and philanthropist, he discovered that Mr Frick read a specific book, between midnight and 2am, every night when in New York. That book happened to be Hubert Howe Bancroft’s “The Book of Wealth.”
“The Book of Wealth” was initially published in 1895 in a limited number of 400 sets. Hubert Bancroft distributed the book to the wealthiest people in the western world such as the Morgan’s, the Rothschild’s and the Kennedy’s.
Demartini confesses that he likes to collect and absorb the greatest minds on the planet. Driven by this, together with his love of reading, Demartini decided to buy “The Book of Wealth.”

Afterall, Demartini concludes, if someone like Mr Frick, who clearly made an impact on the world, would sit there night after night, year after year, reading one particular book, then it must be a pretty significant book.
The following day, Dr Demartini contacted the local bookstores seeking to purchase a copy of “The Book of Wealth.” He was told that the book was unavailable and referred to a bookstore who specialised in rare books. Not surprisingly, they also did not have a copy, although confirmed that they were aware of the publication and agreed to put out a world wide search for a copy of the book, on Demartini’s behalf.
Incredibly, several days later, Demartini received a call from the bookstore saying; “You’re not going to believe this but the book is up for auction!” (Dr Demartini credits this amazing turn of events to him asking for a copy of the book – Law of Attraction). He left instructions for the bookstore to bid “whatever it takes” to get that particular copy of “The Book of Wealth.”
Demartini admits that he thought “The Book of Wealth” to be literally one great book. Hence, when a giant crate was delivered to his 62nd floor Manhattan apartment, he was rather taken aback to discover that there were actually 10 volumes of “The Book of Wealth.”

Demartini summarizes “The Book of Wealth” as being a deep exploration of the psychology of economic exchange.
